Theater Association up in arms !

Onceagain a war between the associations in Malayalam cinema! This time, wide releasing is the cause of the conflict. Instead of the government ordinance that gives sanction to 55 theatres for wide release, the Kerala film exhibitors’ federation has decidedto grant permission to only five theatres for the wide release. The federation has also decided not to grant permission to any other theatre for the next five years. They have signed an agreement with the associations of producers and distributors on this matter. However, the association of B class theatres hascome up against this regard.
