"Its not Santhosh Madhavan's story" : Kunchacko Boban

Kunchacko Boban is adamant thathe is not portraying Santhosh Madhavan in the film ‘God for Sale:Bhakthiprasthanam’ though people see a stark resemblance tothe infamous God man. Chakochan says that the movie is about the influence that our surroundings inflict on us and thegradual changes that occur over aperiod of time. As a child, we are influenced by our parents and relatives and we are instilled with faith in God. As we cross childhood and reach manhood, we become brasher and start questioning the faith ending up as non-believers. At a still later stage, older and wiser, the faith and belief comes back and we become God-fearingagain. This has been illustrated in the movie and it has nothing to do with Santhosh Madhavan, Chakochan said adding that the hero in the film undergoes the same metamorphism. Babu Janrdanan had approached Chackochan with the same offer four years ago, but at that time, he did not have the confidence to handle the role. But people have started accepting the difference roles that he has been doing and this has convinced him to accept the offer, Chackochan continued. He comes in three different make-ups in the movie.
