Win-Win situation for Anti-piracy cell.

The final showdown between the anti-piracy cell of the state and the brains behind the piracy rackets is about to begin and it looks like a win-win situation for the APC. Premkumar, based in London andthe main schemer, has agreed to return to India after being threatened with extradition proceedings through the External Ministry by the APC.
Premkumar, who belongs to Varkala has been uploading copies of movies from the United Kingdom. The digital copies of movies were sent to him from Bangalore through secure digital cards.
Huge amounts of money were sent to afather-son team in Bangalore for receiving these digital cards.
The father-son team enticed theater staff and recorded moviesfrom theaters by using the moneysent by Premkumar. These cards were also sent to another person in Chennai who made DVSs and CDs of the movies and distributed them through vendors. He has also been identified and his whereabouts have been traced.
A special squad has been despatched to Chennai to apprehend him. The entire plot was unearthed after the arrest and confession of the father-son duo from Bangalore on Thursday. A team is being dispatched to Bangalore to collect further information. With the arrest of the two , Premkumarand the man from Chennai, we would see the end of the nefarious piracy racket which was eating into the Malayalam Film industry for the last six years.
