After the car accident he was shifted from Kozhikode MIMS Hospital to Vellore Christian Medical College last month 12 to provide specialised treatment. Now he recognises his near and dear ones with a smile although he is not able to speak. He listens to favourite songs in IPod otherwise watches TV. He even watches video of his old films including Yodha and Kilukkam through laptop with great curiosity. At times he finds time to press buttons of mobile phone. 'Veendum Kannur' ::: Coming Soon.

After the super hitflick KANNUR, Robin Thirumala- Haridas team’s "VEENDUM KANNUR" will grace the theatres on May 24th. The film will portray the bloody story of Kannur. Anoop Menon will be the male lead in the film which will be produced by Latheef Thirur under the banner of Golden Wings. Robin himself has penned the script of the movie. Music is composed by Robin who has scored music in the film CHEMPADA. Tini Tom, Irshad, Rajeev Pillai, Ambika Mohan, Shivaji Guruvayoor are the other actors. Camera: Jithu Damodaran. Now a heroic innings of Tini Tom! Although, it has been several years since Tini has entered cinema, he was not seen in good character roles till Renjith spotted him during the shoot of PALERI MANIKYAM. After that he has played importantcharacters in all Renjith films(Pranchiyettan & The Saint, Indian Rupee). Tini has also won laurels for his negative role in VKP’s BEAUTIFUL. Samvritha Sunil to essay Jannet in "Celluloid".

Samvritha Sunil who is too busy incompleting her projects before her marriage that is fixed n November 1 has signed another project. This time she will be essaying Jannet, the wife of J.C. Daniel, in the upcoming movie 'CELLULOID' which is a biopic on the father of Malayalam cinema by Veteran Kamal . Her recent releases MALLU SINGH and DIAMOND NECKLACE are receiving laurels in the cinemas. The film will be jointly scripted by Kamal and Vinu Abraham in which Prithviraj will give life to J.C.Daniel. Sreenivasan will also play an important role in this film. The crew is in search of a new face to don the role of Rossy, the first heroine of Malayalam cinema.

Kunchakko boban deviates as a producer
