Mythili's item dance in 'Matinee'.

Mythili is getting ready for taking a brave risky role in upcoming movie "Matinee" and also an item dance number, following Padmapriya and Jyothirmayi. Malayalees feel very prudish about item dance but Mythili has no such inhibitions.

Mythili says that there should be some glamour element in Malayalam too. Shealso says that there is no vulgarity in the dance she is doing in the film duringthe changing phase of Malayalam films. She knew that there was such a sequence in the film before.

She also added that, she had studied dancing till 11th standard, but the cinematic dancing was never her style. Mythili also said during an interview that, Padmapriya or Jyothirmayi, who introduced the item dance in Malayalam are not her role models, instead, Silk Smitha is her role model in item dance.
