Mohanlal in his fight against corruption,appeared in eight different guises in 'Lokpal' including that of a Sardar. It appears that he would be donning the role of an ebullient Sardar once again inan upcoming movie. V.M.Vinu, who directed superhit 'Balettan' with Mohanlal as hero, will direct the movie in which Mohanlal would appear as Happy Singh, a wrestler.
'Happy Singh' lives in a village where people look upon wrestling as the main source of entertainment and Vinu portrays life in this village through the movie which is expected to be full of humour. Shooting would take place in Punjab and Bangalore. Screenplay is written by Deepu Karunakaran, who scripted and directed for 'Teja Bhai and Family' and 'Crazy Gopalan', both of which were humour oriented.
